Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat is one of the best luxury resort in Sariska, set on the quiet slopes of the Aravalli Hills, right next to Sariska National Park. It’s a boutique eco-luxury property built for all seasons, where rustic living, natural beauty, and genuine comfort exist in the same place without fighting each other.
More than 90% of the property follows Rajasthan’s Eco-Tourism policy, dedicated to organic food forests, farm to table gardens, and indigenous green cover. We didn’t build over the land. We worked around it.
People come here for different reasons. Some need a weekend away from screens. Some bring their families. Some come for corporate offsites, yoga retreats, or a celebration that deserves a better backdrop than a banquet hall. Whatever brings you here, the forest delivers. Guided nature walks, trekking, birdwatching, stargazing, bonfire nights, and wildlife safaris are all part of a regular stay.
What ties it all together is the place itself. Rural Rajasthan, traditional hospitality, luxury experiences and a commitment to travel that doesn’t cost the land more than it gives back. If you’re looking for adventure, quiet, or something in between, this is where that starts.

Chokhiwadi was nothing but open land in 2022. The founders built it from scratch, planting over 20,000 native trees and nurturing 9.5 acres of wild grass to create a resort in Sariska that’s forested, shaded, and genuinely alive.
Sustainability, community, and culture weren’t things added on later. They were the foundation. Over 90% of the land is dedicated to organic food forests and indigenous green cover because that’s what the place asked for.
People who come here often say the same thing. The mornings feel different. The evenings feel longer. Something about the forest and the quiet makes everything else feel less urgent. That’s just what happens when a place is built honestly.

As part of our heartfelt community-building efforts, all our staff are lovingly hired from nearby villages—ensuring every warm smile and helping hand you encounter not only enriches your stay, but also uplifts a local livelihood that truly needs it.

Rest easy knowing your loved ones will receive the immediate care and attention they deserve, so you can focus on making memories, not worrying.

Tucked away at one end of the property, The Camp is where the real outdoors begins. Thirty-five portable tents go up across a clearing framed by hills and forest on every side. It holds around 100 people, but it never feels crowded.
Shared washrooms keep things comfortable without killing the adventure. Nights here tend to find their own shape. A bonfire that goes longer than planned, karaoke that no one asked for but everyone joined, a pyjama party under more stars than you’re used to seeing. This is our most affordable space, but affordable doesn’t mean less. It means you’re trading a ceiling for an open sky and a locked door for fresh air. Groups who come for a night usually wish they’d booked two. The Sariska camping experience here has a way of doing that to people.

Our Food Forest is exactly what the name says, a living, working forest planted and tended by our founders from the beginning. Over 7,000+ trees are scattered thoughtfully across the resort, bearing pomegranates, lemons, gooseberries, papayas, and oranges through the seasons. The harvest goes to our kitchen and to nearby village communities. Nothing sits behind a gate. In a few years, when the canopy fills in properly, this will become a dense private forest, the kind that takes generations to grow. It started as a vision rooted in sustainability and community. Now it is a daily reality you can walk through, pick from, and sit inside. The quiet that collects under those trees on a warm afternoon is reason enough to visit on its own.
At Chokhiwadi, food is not just a meal. It’s a memory in the making. Our kitchen draws from the heart of Rajasthan, where every recipe carries the weight of generations and every spice tells a story. Using farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients grown right on our land, our chefs craft dishes that honour the bold, earthy soul of this desert kingdom. From hearty dal baati churma to slow-cooked laal maas, every bite is a journey into authentic Rajasthani flavour, made with local hands, local love, and a generous pinch of tradition.
Dine under a canopy of stars by The Baori, savour high tea deep in the jungle, or sip sundowners as the Aravallis blush golden at dusk. Settle into our hilltop restaurant with sweeping views of the forest, where the wilderness becomes your dining companion. Whether it’s an intimate private dinner or a lazy afternoon meal surrounded by birdsong, every setting at Chokhiwadi is as unforgettable as the food on your plate.

At Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat, leaving the world a better place is not a vision statement — it is what we do every day. We use locally sourced materials and traditional building techniques so our retreat sits within the forest without disturbing its ecosystem. Our water is harvested, filtered, and reused responsibly. We run on solar power, compost waste into manure, and our kitchen sources organic dairy and produce from local farms and our own herb garden, cutting food miles and supporting clean eating. Whether it is how we build, what we grow, or what we offer, this land always comes first
We work with nearby villages to employ local talent, promote indigenous art, and support sustainable livelihoods. Over 10,000 indigenous trees now grow across our property, and the waterholes we have built carry wildlife through the harsh summer months. From zero-plastic policies to guided nature walks, tree-planting drives, wildlife monitoring, and educational workshops — everything we do today is a small wager on a gentler tomorrow. Mindful travel, done right, caan heal the planet one stay at a time. When you choose Chokhiwadi, you become part of that effort too.

Stayed at Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat recently and honestly, it exceeded expectations. Varun, the host, was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. You can tell the hospitality here is genuine and not just transactional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained, which made the stay comfortable throughout. What really stands out is the overall vibe of the place. It’s incredibly serene, surrounded by nature, and perfect if you’re looking to disconnect from the chaos of city life. The swimming pool was clean and well-kept, and the property overall reflects a lot of attention to detail. We also got to participate in community-style activities, which added a nice social and experiential touch to the stay. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and you can feel the farm-to-table approach they try to maintain. Overall, great hospitality, peaceful environment, and a thoughtfully designed retreat. Definitely recommend it for a relaxed weekend getaway.Posted on rajat tuliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Loved our stay here.Posted on Harish TGTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a pleasant stay at Chokiwadi Forest Retreat, the property is beautiful and the staff is courteous. Propert is located in the forest and view in the night is breathtaking. However, the food pricing is very high (comparable to 5-star hotels) but the quantity served is extremely small. For example, dishes like Chicken 65, Paneer Tikka, and Chicken Tikka (around ₹500 each) had only about 5 very small pieces, tawa roti is ₹99, which is not justified and quite disappointing. Also, having a small fridge in the room would be helpful, especially during summer, as repeatedly calling room service for chilled items is inconvenient. Overall, a good stay, but these improvements would make the experience much better.
